Certainly a long way from the best Sci-Fi horror to come out of the UK but an important one in the shadow of the cold war, Quatermass and Doctor Who. Plot concerns a robot invasion (featuring very slow moving robots).

-The Sloth

More of a psycho-drama along the lines of Five than actual science fiction, but still an interesting little film. Makes an interesting double bill with The Day of the Triffids; both are British post-apocalyptic films, precursors of modern zombie films, and featuring as leads American actors who starred in Kiss Me Kate!
